The biggest music festival in a ski location is back: Tomorrowland in Alpe d’Huez
The famous “Tomorrowland Winter” electro-music festival will return to the French ski resort of Alpe d’Huez next March 2020 after it was a massive success last year.
Tomorrowland the biggest techno festival in Europe in Alpe d’ Huez
Last year more almost 30,000 festival-goers from over a hundred countries were reported at the high altitude resort Alpe d’Huez for the festival. This is the first winter outing for the famous Belgian film festival extravaganza started in 2004. Tomorrowland attracts half-a-million party-goers to the summer version of Tomorrowland in Belgium, but of course, you are not high up in the French Alps!
When will Tomorrowland in Alpe d’Huez take place?
Tomorrowland Winter 2020 will take place between 14 to 21 March. It will be another impressive line-up on eight separate stages, including three on the slopes above 2,000 meters high.
The largest of these stages, 65 metres wide and 22 metres high, is believed to be the most massive stage of its kind ever to have been erected at such an altitude!
Festival is from Saturday, March 14th to Saturday, March 21st, 2020.
From Saturday, March 14 to Friday, March 20: A week of DJs and music in different areas of the Alpe d’Huez ski domain and on the main stage.

March 18-20: Tomorrowland Winter’s main stage

Over 250 km of pistes in Alpe d’Huez attract skiers from all over the world. Le Grand Domaine ski area is ideal for every type of skiers and snowboarders. From easy blue slopes to famous tracks like ‘La Sarenne’, which has a length of 16 km.
Accommodation is available in Alpe d’Huez and the surrounding villages: Auris en Oisans, Villard Reculas, Oz en Oisans as well as Vaujany. The Tomorrowland pass combines accommodation and the lift pass. You can easily access all the different festival locations by ski or on foot. In case of lift closure for bad weather, free shuttles will take you back to where you stay.
